For live performance and studio production, Juna has chosen PJB\u2019s BP-800 head and C8 speaker cabinets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Born in Ishikawa Japan, Juna began playing the bass guitar at 17 years old and by age 18 she was already gaining notoriety as a bassist and vocalist. She was awarded a scholarship to the Showa University of Music where she studied under renowned bassist Tetsuo Sakurai (ex CASIOPEA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">She was an original member of the all female band TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI. Their music video \u201cWhat is Hip?\u201d has garnered over 2.7 million views on Youtube. Her solo videos regularly exceed 100k plus views with one achieving over a million. Juna appeared in a SONY television commercial that featured her performing a dazzling slap bass solo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">She has released three solo albums that have achieved rankings of #1 on the ITunes Store chart in Denmark, and #2 in Japan and France.
