14 massively talented bassists came out to The Guitar Shop NYC to compete in the Phil Jones Bass Solo Bass Contest. The judges had a lot to talk about, and at the end of the night Jim Stinnett of Real Bass Lessons took home the top trophy. Contestants received gear from the events sponsors: LaBella strings, Hipshot, Phil Jones Bass, NS Design, Brubaker Musical Instruments, and Marleaux Basses.
First Place – Jim Stinnett

Second Place – Dan Freeman
